I am currently working as a Software Design Engineer in the
Linux Technologies research group in the
Internet and Mobile Systems Lab (IMSL)
at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories
in Palo Alto, California. My primary focus is on workload characterization and perfomance evaluation. I also have a personal interest in distributing multimedia over the Internet; in particular, video of hockey games.
I previously worked on the Web QoS research group here at
HP Labs.
Prior to coming to
HP Labs I worked as a research assistant in the
DISCUS
research group on distributed systems in the
Department of Computer Science
at the
University of Saskatchewan.
My home town is
Loon Lake,
Saskatchewan.
When I'm not at work I'm usually playing
Hockey. My favorite NHL team is the
Toronto Maple Leafs.
If you're a scout for the Maple Leafs, please check out my
statistics.
